A few lifetimes ago, I was working at Canada’s public broadcaster. I was lucky enough to meet and get to know so many smart, creative, and kind people. One of them was a producer named Mike. Oh, and his last name is Downie. He is the older brother of the late lead singer of The Tragically Hip, national treasure Gord Downie, who passed away a few years back. Mike has completed work on a four-part series tracing the career of his brother Gord and the band that rocked Canada.
